Still Growing...

Our latest news is that Jeff recently got the position of assistant golf professional at Bent Brook golf course. He is thrilled and absolutely loving it! He is working a lot of hours, but does not seem to mind at all. His goal is to become head pro within three years. Working in the golf industry inspires and fulfills him.

I am about to turn 30 weeks now and everything is still going great. The baby and I are growing every day! I promise to get my ultrasound pictures on here soon; I have been having technical difficulties with scanning. I am going to have to take them somewhere and with school starting back, things have gotten crazy. It was really hard jumping back into full teaching mode, but everything is beginning to get back to normal.

Our Big News

As I am sure everyone knows that is reading this blog, I am pregnant! It is a whole new, amazing experience. I now understand why all of those women would talk endlessly about the changes (both pleasant and not-so-pleasant) going on with their bodies, as well as this cute little bundle of love that is shortly on the way. And yes, I already know how adorable my little bean is because I have seen the ultrasound pictures. Clearly, s/he is the cutest fetus ever!

I am currently 24 weeks, which is the last week of my second trimester. I cannot believe it! The time has flown by. It seems like yesterday that I ran out and bought my third pregnancy test because there was just no way the first two were correct. If I didn't believe the strips, I definitely could not ignore my ever growing and changing body for long. Of course, not all of pregnancy is fun, but I really do love it. Jeff and I are constantly marvelling at the fact that a real human being is growing inside of me.

We have been busy getting everything ready for our new arrival. Jeff rearranged our rooms and painted the nursery last weekend while I took Adam to visit my parents at the beach. I realize that I really got the tough end of the bargain. It actually is going to take a little more paint, which he will conveniently be able to do while I go to San Francisco with Deidra next week. I am so excited about my trip- I have always wanted to go to there, but have never been able to. Poor Jeff though! I may as well enjoy the rest of my summer because school will be starting back very shortly. From that point on, I imagine our lives will be a whirlwind!
